**PTO Grant Funds Now Available for After School Clubs and Club Sports**
Objective: As a part of the PTO’s vision to make every child’s potential a reality, this year, we are excited to offer Club and Club Sport grants to help our students grow and learn through extracurricular activities. Priority is given to applications that use the funds to benefit the entire club/sport. Grant money will not be awarded for items such as consumables (food/drinks), personalized uniforms, individual trophies and medals.
NOTE: Scholarships for students wishing to join clubs with membership fees can be requested through the school guidance counselor.
The application link below is for materials and/or equipment to benefit the club/sport as a whole.
Instructions: Please complete the application in no more than 2 pages and submit by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the school year.
Grant Limit is $500 per application/project.

Inman PTO School Clubs and Club Sports
Grant Application 2017-18.

Inman 8th graders can swim on the Grady swim team this year! The team is open to all Inman 8th grade students - no competitive swimming experience necessary (sorry - due to GHSA rules, 6th and 7th graders are not allowed to participate). The season runs from mid October to the end of January. Practices are M.W,Th 6-7:30 at King Middle School. There is also a stroke clinic on Saturday mornings from 9-10 at the Washington Park Natatorium.

Forms: Student Athlete Required Forms
Inman sports are open to all students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Football is the only sport that is NOT open for 6th graders. Before any student can practice or try-out for a sport, they must have an APS physical form packet on file with the Inman Middle School Athletic Department. All physicals must be completed on the APS physical form packet, which is available on the Inman Middle School website or in the Inman Middle School front office. Along with the APS physical form packet, all students must provide proof of medical insurance. A copy of your child’s insurance card, both front and back, must be turned in along with the physical form packet. It is the responsibility of the student to make sure the coach receives all of the required items prior to practice or try-outs. In addition to the physical forms, all students and parents must sign the Inman Athletics Policy documents that will be attached to the physical packet. Forms should be turned in to Inman PE office. Coach Dionne will be in the office daily from 8:40-9:05 am to receive paperwork from parents or students. Please do not turn in athletic forms to the front office or homeroom teachers.
Required Paperwork: All sections of the APS Physical form packet must be filled out completely. Students will not be allowed to practice or tryout without a current physical, parent consent, and proof of insurance. All students must provide a copy of their insurance card front and back.
Insurance Requirements: Due to APS policy, all students must provide proof of insurance to participate in any exercise based activity. If your child is not currently covered by an existing policy, you may enroll in a policy provided by APS athletics. This will cover the student only while participating in APS sponsored sports (not Inman club sports or intramurals).
Academic Requirements: ALL students must have passed 5 classes in the previous semester in order to be eligible for participation. Rising 6th graders are automatically eligible the first semester only.
